Anusha’s journey began after she tragically lost her best friend to suicide. This deeply personal loss opened her eyes to the harsh reality that countless individuals face in silence – the silent battles of mental health. It was a wake-up call that ignited a passion within her to create change, to raise awareness, and to provide the support that she believed should be readily accessible to those in need. The pain of losing a dear friend to suicide became the driving force behind Let’s Talk Mental Health (LTMH).
At the heart of Let’s Talk Mental Health is a resounding message: the stigma surrounding mental health must be eradicated, and accessible resources must be readily available to those who need them most. The motivation behind LTMH is to create a safe space where individuals can openly discuss their mental health struggles without fear of judgment. It’s about promoting mental health wellbeing, making it a top priority in society, and offering a helping hand to those in the depths of despair.


In her role as the Co-founder of “Let’s Talk Mental Health,” Anusha Chowdhury has sparked crucial discussions that have touched the lives of more than 40,000 individuals globally. Going beyond mere dialogue, her tireless endeavors extend to providing assistance to those facing significant challenges. Anusha’s boundless compassion is evident in her exceptional initiative to support 2000 minority (Hindu) individuals who fell victim to vandalism, underscoring her firm dedication to humanitarian causes.
Anusha’s illustrious path is adorned with accolades that speak volumes about her extraordinary contributions. In 2022, she received the prestigious Diana Award, a symbol of her exceptional humanitarian work in mental health sector. The UAE Royal Family honored her with the Global Leader Award, recognizing her international influence. Her journey also led her to be a finalist for the National Joy Bangla Youth Award, celebrating her unwavering commitment to social change. Anusha Chowdhury’s remarkable journey has not only touched the hearts of those fortunate to know her but has also captured the attention of the world’s media.
Anusha Chowdhury’s expedition is not confined to the realm of mental health advocacy alone; it’s a multifaceted odyssey that showcases her entrepreneurial spirit.
One of her remarkable initiatives, “Bazar Nao,” is an exemplification to her innovative approach to addressing the needs of her community. This e-grocery store is nothing short of a game-changer in Bangladesh, introducing a unique concept where people can avail themselves of credit to purchase groceries. For up to 20 days, individuals have access to a credit line within the e-commerce store, enabling them to choose from a variety of commodities offered by Bazar Nao. Anusha’s venture aims to ease the burden of daily life and ensure that people have access to essential groceries when they need them.
Anusha has also made her mark in the manufacturing industry as the former CEO of Vision Induction Wads. The company’s reputation as a leading manufacturer of auto induction wads for glass bottles and jars, as well as sealing solutions for HDPE, PET, PP, Aluminum Blister Foil, and Aluminum Lids Foil, is a testimony to Anusha’s drive for excellence. Anusha’s ventures, whether in e-commerce or manufacturing, are a reflection of her belief that entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for social change.

Anusha Chowdhury’s impactful journey extends into education, where she played a crucial role as the former Director of External Affairs at the Canadian University of Bangladesh. In a groundbreaking achievement, she made history as the first Bangladeshi to take over the Harvard Business School online platform for a day, earning a feature on their Instagram page and leaving an enduring mark in the spotlight.
Anusha Chowdhury’s journey knows no borders, extending beyond geographical confines to prestigious platforms. A standout moment was her participation in the “Connext” conference at Harvard Business School, where she had the privilege of addressing mental health in front of distinguished delegates.
Driven by her passion for the business world, Anusha pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in marketing at North South University, Dhaka. To enhance her entrepreneurial skills, she successfully completed the Entrepreneurship Essentials course at Harvard Business School, earning a certificate of completion. Additionally, her keen interest in mental health and human psychology led her to successfully finish the Positive Psychology course from Harvard Medical School online.
