Ashreen’s formative years were spent immersed in the vibrant cultural heritage of her native Bangladesh. Born and raised in the heart of Bangladesh, Ashreen’s childhood and adolescence were deeply rooted in the rich cultural fabric of her homeland. Her family originates from Uzirpur, a picturesque town nestled in the Barisal district of the Barisal division. However, her roots extend further, as her grandfather’s house is located in Adamdighi, Bogra district, a captivating destination in the Rajshahi division. This duality provided her with a unique perspective, allowing her to appreciate and embrace the diverse experiences of both North Bengal and South Bengal, enriching her upbringing with a blend of rich cultural influences.
Education has played a pivotal role in shaping Ashreen’s remarkable journey. She embarked on her academic path in the Humanities stream, diligently studying under the esteemed Barisal and Dhaka Boards during her secondary and higher secondary education. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic History and a Master’s degree in Economics from the esteemed National University. However, her educational pursuits did not end there. She furthered her learning by completing an Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics at MKSIM in Pune, India. Her relentless quest for knowledge eventually culminated in the acquisition of an Executive MBA degree from the prestigious Canadian University Dubai.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Ashreen harbored a deep passion for the art of dance. Her journey in the world of dance began with a foundation in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Modern Dance, and Dance, honed at the Bulbul Lalitkala Academy. Her artistic journey was further enriched when she became an apprentice to the illustrious dance guru, Syeda Saila Ahmed Lima, eventually joining the Bhongima Dance Theater. This commitment to the art form not only served as a personal milestone but also enriched the cultural landscape of Bangladesh.
As her academic and artistic journey took shape, Ashreen ventured into the world of photo modeling. She embarked on her career as a photo model, taking her initial steps under the banner of Genesis View Multimedia. These ventures into the world of modeling further expanded her horizons and broadened her experiences.
Ashreen’s professional journey has been characterized by remarkable versatility, as she has worked with a diverse range of organizations both within and outside of Bangladesh. Her contributions have graced renowned companies such as Netol-Niloy Autos, Robi Axiata Limited, Dutch-Bangla Bank, BRAC Bank, Multimood Group, Rangs Motors, and Cosmos Holidays within the borders of Bangladesh. Beyond her homeland, she also served at Hyundai Automobiles in India, where she shared her skills and expertise for a period of two years. She then expanded her professional horizons to Dubai, where she worked with Platinum Equity and AW Rostami Group. Currently, Ashreen holds the esteemed position of Operations Manager at “Ibin Ajayan Trading Group,” a prominent automobile company based in Qatar. Her journey across these diverse organizations showcases her adaptability and her ability to excel in various roles.
Umme Rehnuma Ara Ashreen is not just an individual with a stellar career; she is a proud expatriate who remains deeply connected to her roots. She champions the progress and development of Bangladesh, actively supporting her fellow Bangladeshis on the global stage.
