It is known from historians and tourists of the world that this country was economically very prosperous in the past. After that, various superpowers, including the British-Dutch Beniyaras, ruled and exploited Bangladesh. As a result, economic development has been severely hampered. We gained independence in 1971 through long struggle and liberation war. Very few nations in the history of the world have a history of liberation war.”
As a skilled lawyer Zubaida Iqbal has observations about the legal system in America and Bangladesh. She said, “All the laws are almost same or very close except some special laws in every country. Law in our country comes from British law. Although American law originated from British law, they took their own initiative further. They made new laws in keeping with the civilization and society in the context of the time and made it timely and continued this trend. She observed that all the initiatives required to implement this law are not there. As a result, people are deprived of the benefits of the law in many cases. And there is a long process in getting justice through the law in this country. The candidate has to wait for years. Again it can be seen that due to the fact that the complaint of the candidate for justice is not properly investigated, the message of justice cries silently.”

Her observations about the current development trend of Bangladesh is that in the past, this country was poor. But gradually after independence it got involved in development trend. So overpopulation was a curse for Bangladesh. But initiatives have been taken to turn that population into a public resource. More than 1 crore 2 million people of the country are now working abroad. The remittances sent by them are the major drivers of BD. Export of manpower, industrialization, agriculture – Bangladesh is progressing rapidly in all fields. She thinks that despite the development of the institutional infrastructure, the human qualities within the people did not develop much. Development of human qualities of people is also important in the development of a country and nation.
There are rules and laws in this country about child rights; but a negative attitude is so strong among the responsible people that it does not allow the law to be implemented.
She said that Bangladesh has gained reputation in many fields such as Padma Bridge, Expressway, Metrorail and many other facilities.
Most common people of Bangladesh are good, honest and hard working. Bribery and corruption in almost every case. Strict punishment should be provided. It is not expected by some people that the image of the country should be destroyed. The rule of law should be implemented and law and judiciary should be kept free from party influence.
Conscious lawyer personality Zubaida Iqbal said about woman empowerment that no country can progress without women’s economic participation. In Bangladesh women are becoming economically independent.
Bangladeshi American Zubaida Iqbal advised `The state will run according to the constitution. Filing false cases, disappearances and murders, all the incidents of harassment of citizens in this country must be prevented. If the image of civil society is bright then we can say we have improved’.
