Bidita Rahman is one of those Asian Americans, who have been able to brighten the image of her roots, Bangladesh. She is a prominent storyteller, poet, presenter, reciter, translator, community activist and philanthropist.

Bidita Rahman, a talented young woman, holds a Master in Science Education degree in School Building Leadership from St. John’s University in New York with a scholarship. She received her BBA degree from Daffodil International University, Dhaka in 2013. She obtained a Certificate of Professional Education in Commercial Real Estate Finance from MIT, Boston in 2020.

Bidita Rahman has earned professional experience workings at the British Council, Bangladesh for 5 years as volunteer. She has 2 years of administrative experience at the French Institute at the French Embassy and experience of teaching French language at Daffodil International School in Dhaka. She did 3 years of research at John’s University in New York and worked for 2 years as Management Consultant at S&NB Corporation in New York. She was also a Volunteer & Donor at the Clinton Foundation in New York for 3 years and editor of Hijab Magazine in the USA for 2 years.

She worked for 3 years as a consultant at Platinum Nigra LLC, a New York real estate company, located at the Interfaith Center in the USA. Besides, Bidita Rahman has been involved in writing for newspapers in Bangladesh and New York for more than 15 years. Basically, she is a Business Educator and Educational Leadership Specialist.

From early age, Bidita Rahman practiced poetry in Bengali, Urdu and English. She is very much amused of the literature of Jalaluddin Rumi, Jibanananda Das, poet Emily Dickenson, novelist Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, J. K. Rowling, Stephen King and Dan Brown. She writes articles, essays, columns and poems in Bangladeshi and American newspapers. She has published 6 books on education, self-improvement and non-fiction. These are- The Dark Window, Srey Sense, 21st Century Educational Science, The Poetry of Sigh (in Bengali), The Road of Obstacles (Bangla Poetry), and You are More Than You are (Development, Self-Development Book in English).

Bidita Rahman has won several medals and awards for her outstanding writing. As a science-minded poet and writer, she was honored by Gemini Magazine in New York in 2016. She has received numerous accolades, including the 2019 New York City Council Citation Honoree Award. She is also recognized by the Kappa Delt Pi American Educational Research Association and Writers Club of USA. This multifaceted poet of the time has already translated 10 books, earned huge fame reciting poems at different programs. Bidita can also draw good pictures. She likes challenging jobs. In teaching and in seminars, she likes to present her speech with right logic. She has given informative speeches in various symposiums and seminars including universities. She has delivered speech on a number of important occasions on education system, children education and teaching methods.

Bidita Rahman has numerous sayings in analyzing conventional social systems. Two of these are “Life is real imagination where the human can hive or Can Thrive” and “Survival depends on your decision, either you type or you quip.”

Bidita Rahman is doing Doctor of Education at St. John’s University. Her recent written book is “You are More than you are” from Amazon Kindle. This is her seventh publications. She is writing and practicing on Leadership and Management. She is expert on psychology on leadership professionals and school management. She is researcher on the field of Educational leadership and counseling specialist

Bangladeshi American Bidita Rahman always feels proud of her country’s development. According to her, the development of education in Bangladesh will lead to economic and human development.
