It is a shared dream for all of us to have gone abroad to build a meaningful and important future by which we can own genuine success and accomplishment, And we, who have taken the risk in some foreign land, eventually become our country’s representatives. We help multiple our country’s reputation day after day and our Bangladesh gets new identity.

Many meritorious Bangladeshis have stamped their solid feet in foreign land, earning due honor. They have upheld the national identity while taking their own exponentially further.

One such person I would like to introduce is Aziz Ahmad.

Aziz is an expatriate Bangladeshi American.  He has earned considerable recognition as a top Bangladeshi Business and technology magnate in the USA, beginning with his early days as AT&T’s lead architect for the 21st Century Network; to his current identity as a senior CEO in the greater New York technology ecosystem– and globally.

Aziz is, all in one, a businessman, engineer, researcher and teacher. He lives in the nearby state of New Jersey with his wife and three children. His business corporate office located in Manhattan, his computer software and services business spread all over the globe, touching the USA, Europe and Asia.

For the last two and a half a decade, Aziz has also acted as an Information technology & telecommunication-related coordination policy and advisor for a number of regional, national and global entities. As an Asian-American living in United States, Aziz has also been a prominent leader of curating address and solutions spanning all sectors of Business, Science, Industry/Culture, Sport, Education and Human Welfare.

Mr. Ahmad co-founded CodersTrust, It is to bring applied education to the 99% with special focus in ICT. The concept is to minimize cost and supply education globally through an online platform supported by human mentors. The objective is to provide a ‘learn, earn and pay back’ concept, which can remove barriers for even the poorest to develop their own skills and lifestyle. CodersTrust empowers young talented individuals by giving them the tools to change their lives and prospects for the future.

Aziz, who was the lead architect of the telecommunications firm AT&T’s 21st Century Network, modeling the future of telecommunications 50 years forward. He also represented AT&T’s Next Generation Internet (NGI) team long before the mainstream commercial advent of the Internet  The fruit of his team’s very successful 1990’s research were Broadbands, Voice over Internet (VoIP) Multi wavelength optical Technology (DWDM) and other vital innovations.

Aziz is the recipient of the City University of New York’s First Asian American Distinguished Alumni Award.  He was inducted into the Wall of Honor at the Grove School of Engineering (the City College of City University of New York). Aziz is the recipient of SBA Emerging Leader by Small Business Administration (SBA). Aziz is perhaps the first Bangladeshi American, who was honored both in NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closing bells ceremony for his significant business success and many philanthropic endeavors. Most recently, Mr. Ahmad was recognized by NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, NYS Attorney General Letitia James and NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli for vital contributions to New York City’s thriving business and technology sectors.

A leading community leader and benefactor, Aziz has established both the ‘Aziz Ahmad Leadership Lectures Series’ and an entrepreneurship Institute at the City College of New York, CUNY, where Fortune 500 corporate leaders are invited to offer keynote speeches. His panel participation and key note speeches, including, but not limited to, World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, United Nations, Helsinki, NYC Digital Summit to name a few.

Aziz’s relentless effort is to serve society at large. He has served on the board of various educational and non-profit institutions, including: The High School for Enterprise, Business, and Technology of NYC department of Education, the Engineering Leadership Council at the Grove School of Engineering at the City College of New York, the Economic Development Committee appointed by Mayor of Marlboro Township of the State of New Jersey.

Aziz’s honors include his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and his Master of Engineering (ME) degree, both from New York City College of City University of New York (CUNY) and Executive Management Program from Tuck School of Business of Dartmouth College. 3
