Azadul Haq, an Electrical Engineer from Houston, Texas, is currently the CEO of Max Group (Power). He looks after the entire Power portfolio of Max group that includes two power plants and 5 projects in Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant including construction of the two main turbine halls.

Before joining Max Group in Bangladesh Haq worked for 19 years at the 3rd largest energy company in the USA, Kinder Morgan. Before joining Kinder Morgan, Haq worked at NASA (Johnson Space Center, Houston) as the NT Administrator and also developed widgets for the International Space Station. He became the President of Computer Expo after his graduation and traveled to Bangladesh in 1992 temporarily to build the IT infrastructure of the first private university of Bangladesh – North South University (NSU). Haq is involved in a multitude of other activities. He was the Convener of the Convention Of NRB Engineers or CONE that was held in February 2019 at the Hotel Sonargaon and inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Haq is the Chairman of Bridge 2 Bangladesh, the US-Bangladesh joint venture Green Micro Ltd., President of The Azad Foundation, Inc., one of the sponsor shareholders of NRBC Bank in Bangladesh, and past Chairman of FOBANA (Federation Of Bangladeshi Associations in North America), the largest national organization for the Bangladeshi organizations in North America.

He published his first book in 2018 and his second book is scheduled to be soon. He is writing his third book now. His hobbies include photography, cinematography, travel, and reading books. He and his wife has two sons and he resides in Texas, USA.
